Chapter Philanthropy and Service
Philanthropy and service is one of the many aspects that make membership in Zeta Tau Alpha selfless and rewarding. The feeling of being something bigger than ourselves and knowing we make a difference is irreplaceable. In accordance with our creed, we "prepare for service and learn the nobility of serving; thereby earning the right to be served".
As a chapter we contribute to our philanthropy by hosting philanthropy events each semester. This past semester, we worked with Kendra Scott to organize a give- back night to raise money for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness.
In the fall, we have a month of events called Pinktober. Pinktober includes bake sales, pink out days and more! ZTA partners. with the National Football League and attends NFL games to pass out ribbons and bring awareness to the community.
In addition to our own philanthropy, we participate in various community service events at least once a month. This past year, we participated in a book drive, made chemo care packages, and so much more.
As a chapter, we enjoy giving back to our community and helping those in need through our service events. We strive to have a positive impact on our community and those around us. We commit to our philanthropy of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and hope to contribute to the fight against breast cancer with our greatest potential.
